First of all, you answered all my questions in advance and confirmed the $45 version of "Dragon Protects Precious Stone" has the 14K gold nib rather than gold plated (GP), a nicer ink converter, the cap with clip and more gold trim. I read a review of the less expensive model and even that one got rave reviews on Fountain Pen Network. The presentation box with the bamboo scroll is also a nice touch. The pen writes very well, and is much more comfortable to hold than I would have expected.
